POINT TECH! CLUB: SUPPORTING GT VOLLEYBALL

Dear GT Volleyball Family,

We are so grateful for your loyalty and continued support through the years, as together we continue to build one of women’s college volleyball’s premier programs. When I was named head coach in April 2014, my vision was to create a nationally respected program on and off the court for our student-athletes. Over the past three seasons, that vision has become a reality, with a 66-19 overall record and Georgia Tech’s second-ever run to the Elite Eight in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. Our players have also received many individual, accolades from ACC Player of the Year to AVCA First-Team All-Americans to the All-ACC Academic Team.

Our vision is not yet complete, and we need your assistance to continue to grow and perform at an elite level every year. No program can do all of the things needed to be a perennial Top 25 contender on its annual operating budget alone. For us to be able to recruit and build everyday champions, we need your help!

Georgia Tech Volleyball has set a fundraising goal of $100,000 through our Point Tech! annual giving program to enhance our current operations by targeting specific areas of need:

» Student-Athlete Experience
• Summer School Funding – As a fall sport, having our players on campus during the summer semester allows them to further their academic careers as well as their athletic careers with access to our strength and athletic training services
• Preseason Retreat – This trip gives our players the opportunity to bond as a team and train for a few days off-campus before embarking on the rigorous schedule of a Top-25 program

» Transportation
• The ability to charter air travel for select trips will lessen the number of classes that are missed when the team has to fly commercially

» Recruiting
• Facility improvements – Facility enhancements will help us continue to compete for the best recruits in the nation
