Dear Buzzer Beaters,
Last season was the first season back to full capacity from the Covid-19 pandemic and our Buzzer Beaters came out in force! I can’t thank you enough for your support of our program.
Georgia Tech women’s basketball is on the rise and it is because of the support from our fans. We’ve made back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time since 2011-12, and we’re beyond excited about the future of our program.
Last year we saw the Buzzer Beaters reach new heights with more than 170 unique donors giving. Let’s keep that rolling this season! Renewals are open and I encourage you to invite your friends and family to join you in the fun!
When we launched the Buzzer Beaters booster program, we set several goals for this group to:
» Be accessible to all fans,
» Create a sense of community surrounding the program,
» Provide experiences that connect fans to the student-athletes they support,
» Grow the fan base.
This year, we want to continue to build on those goals and set new records. Your membership will help support several key priority fundraising needs of the program for this upcoming season, including:
» Planned international trip in summer 2023 to Croatia and Spain,
» Investments in recruiting,
» Investments in player and staff development.
The goal of our program is to perennially be at the top of the ACC and be a top 25 program, and the same is true for our donor support. Buzzer Beater membership has grown every year, and your support will turn the Buzzer Beaters into the best women’s basketball booster club in the nation!
The Buzzer Beaters offers three levels of membership for individuals or families. Every member receives benefits unique to Georgia Tech women’s basketball. Not only do I encourage you to join, but I also encourage you to invite your fellow alumni, family, friends and neighbors to a game so they can experience it for themselves.
You’ll see a lot of new faces in the 2022-23 season and we can’t wait to introduce you to them all. We have a lot of things planned for our Buzzer Beaters this season, so make sure you sign up – and bring your neighbor along too!
